Copycat drove the narrative, language, and brand that pulled Prosper’s unique advantages to the surface. Following the workshops, they went on to close $700k of net new revenue.

Beginning — The Problem
Prosper CFO (before) struggled to stand out in a crowded market that uses the same jargon, tactics, and accolades. They needed a narrative that would help them break their dependency on referrals and set the stage for their marketing mix.
Middle — Our Process
We flew out to Austin, TX, and ran 3-days of immersive narrative workshops. This set the foundation for their Strategic Narrative. From there, we repositioned their brand and established a GTM motion.

Language Model

Created a language model unique to Prosper that captures their advantages

Net New $700K

Increased conversions amongst prospects & drove $700k net new revenue following the workshops

Market Fit

Launched Prosper (no longer Prosper CFO) with higher fidelity and (BMF) brand-market-fit

New Growth

Embraced the vision they were originally timid about which unlocked new growth opportunities

End — The Outcome
Following the workshops, Prosper’s new narrative (when brought into sales calls) immediately increased conversions. Now they had the language to articulate their competitive advantage, which we pushed into a new site and growth strategy.
We interviewed 15+ firms before deciding on Copycat. Ultimately, we didn’t want another framework, another Storybrand lookalike, we wanted a sparring partner. One who understands what we want to accomplish and would fight for that vision.
