By uniting SGL's abstract business model into a clear Strategic Narrative and communication platform, Copycat provided the directional force to build—and ultimately launch—a new division: The SGL Impact Studio.

Beginning — The Problem
Recently appointed CEO, Jen Alt was leading a company that struggled to define its diverse and comprehensive business model. As such, they needed clear positioning and a cohesive brand strategy to unlock the next iteration of the company.

Copycat conducted a full-team Narrative Workshop, interviewing stakeholders to define SGL's identity, culminating in a unified narrative, positioning breakdown, verbal identity, and all-new website.

The SGL team’s newfound perspective and direction led them straight to their next initiative. With our guidance, they refined their core offering and successfully launched their first for-profit division, focused on organizational health, strategy, and leadership development.
The response to GTM was incredibly strong — over 60 calls booked, new leads generated, referrals, a clear sales pipeline beginning to form, and our first conversion made. It’s only been six months since our first conversation and I can’t believe how far we’ve come.
